How far in advance should I inquire about cake for my event?
Please submit your inquiry between 4 and 10 months of your event. Since we only accept a limited orders per month during the season, it’s encouraged that you inquire early.
I found a photo of a cake I love! Will you make the exact same one for my event?
We are so excited that you found ideas you love. Unfortunately, we do not replicate exact designs created by other artists. The photo(s) you find will be used as a source of inspiration, but all of our dessert designs are custom and original.
Do you have a storefront?
No, we do not have a storefront. We are a Cottage Food Operation based out of a home bakery.
Where are tasting appointments held?
Tastings are provided by mailing you a temperature controlled box of freshly made cake samples. These are shipped via Fed Ex Overnight Express Mail.
Is there a minimum order requirement?
There is a $1,000 minimum for your custom order.
The minimum for custom multi-tiered cakes starts at $12 per serving. This means, if you need 100 servings, you should expect to spend at least $1,200.

I’m ready to book you for my event! Do you require a deposit?
Yay! We are so excited you want to work with us! To secure your order and date, a 50% deposit will be required for all orders.
Do you make gluten free cakes?
Unfortunately, we do not provide gluten free cakes.
How much cake should I order for my guests?
Figuring out exactly how much cake you should order for your party can depend on a few things. In general, ordering servings for 65-75% of you guest count is appropriate since not everyone enjoys their own slice of cake. However, factors such as other dessert options, serving style, and event timeline may lead to either an increase or decrease in cake amount.
Do you offer “naked” or “semi-naked” cakes?
We do not offer naked or semi-naked cakes, but we may partially incorporate the style into a cake design.
I want to order a small cake and supplement guests’ servings with sheet cake. Can you do that?
Sure! There is a minimum of $1,000 on cake orders that will be paired with back-up cakes. In lieu of sheet cakes, our back-up cakes are available for ordering. These cakes allow all guests to enjoy the same 4-layer slices.
What is your cancellation policy?
In the event that you need to cancel your order, your 50% deposit is non-refundable. If an order is cancelled with less than 30 days notice, you may still be charged for the remainder of your balance. Please refer to your contract for more specific details regarding this topic.
For non-weddings and smaller events, the remainder of your balance will still be due if the order is cancelled with less than two weeks notice.
How many people can enjoy a tasting box?
A tasting serves samples for up to 2-3 guests comfortably.
